   Not a stupid question at all but there are different sorts of the game basically if you get the ball in the cup your opponent has to drink.

   We like to play by setting up 10 plastic cups at each end of a ping pong table in a triangle pattern. (like bowling pins) The 4 cups at the back are worth 1 drink, the next 3 are worth 2 drinks etc. The ping pong ball must be bounced once off the table and land in a cup to count. Every time you get the ball in a cup, remove the cup and play until one player has eliminated all his opponents cups. Have fun.
